IPS and IIP Australia are partnering to promote the international standard and framework Investors in People (IIP) throughout Australia to core industry groups. Meetings with identified industry groups including Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ), SkillsDMC and NSW Construction Industry Training Advisory Body CITAB NSW have already occurred in both states and this will lead to strategic positioning Investors in People to meet the needs of these industries.

Investors in People has overwhelming success in the United Kingdom and over the past 10 years moving into 20 countries globally with the success stories growing rapidly.

In the UK reserach has shown that organisations recognised as Investors in People attract and retain the best people and it shows potential recruits that these organisations value and invest in their people. Today it is more important than ever for employers to really keep the interest high and the challenge fresh, to motivate their employees and keep ahead of the competition.

  • Investors in People

Investors in People ensures your company stays truly competitive by implementing strategies that encourage you to continually evaluate your practices and see return on investment. This in turn allows you to take better control of costs by enabling you to see where savings and efficiencies can be made in your business.

People are less likely to leave your organisation if they are committed and motivated. If you know what part they play and have the skills they need then they understand that they are a vital element of your business. Reinforcing that knowledge and deveoping those people is crucial. The standard gives you the framework to ensure you are attracting, motivating and retaining the right people, delivering added value to the organisation and saving recruitment costs.
